I had the privilege of collaborating with the staff of our local college last week. Throughout the year, the college actively promotes workplace wellness, but last week, they took it to the next level to emphasize the significance of health and well-being for their employees. Their dedication to fostering a healthier work environment inspired me to explore the advantages of workplace wellness.

-Increased productivity
-Team building
How can employers support workplace wellness? Challenges are a great place to start. Keep the challenge short and sustainable to increase employee success. Once employees are engaged and seeing small wins, they're more likely to keep going if the opportunity is there. Employers can add a lunch-hour fitness class or mid-day meditation program. Encouraging employees to get up and move is probably one of the best ways to support staff.
